Nordic Sustainable Cities
How will life get better in cities that adapt to the climate? Take a look at Nordic Innovations' exhibition on Nordic sustainable cities. There is also a chapter on adaptation to climate change called Resilient City.
Cities around the world face huge but very similar challenges – from elderly loneliness to urban flooding to polluted air. The UN Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030 comes up with a framework solution to many of these problems. The Nordic countries are big supporters of the UN 2030 Agenda and have come up with many solutions that they can contribute to achieving its Sustainable Development Goals. This exhibition presents some of the solutions that Nordic architects and engineers are already working on in the areas of health, mobility, reducing the carbon footprint, the circular economy, or urban resilience.
