Flower meadows are a new trend in Polish cities!

It is not always going well and many examples of negative actions carried out in cities can be indicated, which are not conducive to adaptation to climate change. Here, however, we have a positive example.

Flower meadows win the hearts of successive town leaders.

Supporters praise their beautiful appearance and habitat functions that they perform for animals and insects. For the authorities, it is also noteworthy that they require lower maintenance costs than typical lawn grass.

And what about adaptation to climate change? Flower meadows are less heating, better water retention and less irrigation needs.

More information in Polish.
