Conference: Climate Change Adaptation in Central and Eastern Europe

Join us for a presentation of the achievements in the field of implementation of the national climate change strategies and action plans in Central and Eastern Europe – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland – under the project LIFE Tree Check.

In 2016, when the first ideas of the LIFE Tree Check program started to emerge, Central and Eastern European had weaker implementation structures and a lower level of public involvement in local decision-making than other regions of Europe. The LIFE Tree Check program aimed to contribute to an acceleration of the process, in line with European strategies, to achieve better climate governance in Europe. The program aimed to gather stakeholders from all project countries and other identified replicability target countries. Let's discuss the achievement.
